The first DMX address setting:
The decoder set the address bit by coding switch, of which 1-8 is for setting the start address of the Binary numeric code switch of DMX512, the first one is the lowest position, the ninth one is the highest Bit of address code can be set to 255.
DMX512 start address code is the sum of switches 1-8, at the same time turn downside of the code switch (ON set to "1"), then the value of the bit can be gotten; coding switch up (set to "0"), the value of the bit is 0.
Example 1:
As the following Schematic 2, DMX512 start address is set to 37, encoding the No. 6,3,1 position on switch dial to "1", others set to "0", then the sum of the switch 1-8 code value is 32 + 4 + 1, that is the DMX512 start address 37.
Example 2:

As the schematic 3, DMX512 start address is set to 166, encoding the no. 2,3,6,8 switch dial to "1", others set to "0",, then the sum of the switch 1-8 code value is 2 + 128 + 256 = 388, that is the DMX512 start address 166.

The basic functions
1, 12 output, can be connected to monochrome or RGB full color lamps;
2, 0-100% dimming output, each 256 gray scale;
3, the international standard DMX512 input protocol, the address code can be set by the DIP switch;
4, wide voltage DC input DC5V ~ DC24V;
5, each occupies 12 DMX addresses.

The installation of the use of precautions
1, this series of controllers can only use 5V-24V power supply; otherwise, may lead to damage to the controller; should use the original high power switching power supply;
2, more than one controller online, the use of ultra-five lines connected to form a network connection network;
3, the connection process, please turn off the power; confirm the line connection is correct before you can turn on the power switch, and observe the controller's red power indicator is lit;
4, the controller of the working environment should be ventilated, dry, no corrosion, no flammable gas and a large number of places where smoke.

5, please check the connection regularly, timely replacement of aging, corrosion, insulation damage to the connection.
